Back from the Sakura Matsuri: Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival

<One of my favorite pics I took today!

We recently got back from the Sakura Matsuri: Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival, it was fun! The beautiful colours of kimono brightened up the overcast day. I enjoyed seeing Ichifujikai and Junko Fisher’s traditional Japanese music and dance, the exciting beat of Ryu Shu Kan and Kaoru Watanabe’s taiko drumming and the unique choreographed dances of 10tecomai performances. The ladies in kimono appeared like butterflies dancing on stage with flowers in hand.

I took mostly lots of pictures and about 20 minutes of video, all on my new camera. Several issues of all three of my Ronin Yoshino manga books were sold along with art prints and trading cards.

Here’s some pics of my table at the festival:

I’ll be posting more photo’s of the festival performances throughout the week!
