These are the steps I go through when drawing Ronin Yoshino in colour.
It starts off as a pencil sketch, then is inked in on new paper & scanned in Adobe Photoshop. From there gaps & mistakes are fixed, then base colour to cel-shaded. A background is added by using 3 of my photographs, touch them up, drag & drop Yoshino & Iteza (her horse), draw shadows & blur it. Dust, lighting & extra shadows added & it’s done! Sounds easy but it’s alota work, that’s why I don’t draw many colour pictures. I prefer screentones. This drawing had taken 2 days to complete.
